歌詞和訳です！この曲は劇団四季のミュージカルでもおなじみ”CATS”の映画版のために書かれた楽曲です。テイラースウィフトは映画でクールでセクシーな大人の猫、ボンバルリーナ役として登場します。
『ヴァラエティ』誌によると、アンドリュー・ロイド・ウェバーが自身の書いた別の曲の伴奏をピアノで弾いたところ、テイラースウィフトが即興で歌詞と歌の旋律を付けたことからこの ”Beautiful Ghost” の制作に繋がったとのこと。
個人的には "All I wanted was to be wanted …" のところなどはアンドリュー・ロイド・ウェバーの楽曲『Love Never Dies』の" 'Til I Hear You Sing" のMV冒頭の伴奏に似ているような…？とも思いました。（その曲だったかはわかりませんが💦）
